The 4D BLACKBOX IMMOBILIZER is a professionally installed blackbox, designed as per Automotive standards, powered by the vehicle 12V (main battery), that includes an Immobilizer for the car.
With embedded accelerometer, CANbus port, GPS and 2G module, 4D BLACKBOX does not need a smartphone to operate. It auto-calibrates and it connects to a remote server via 2G network providing advanced Insurance services. A SIM card and a data connectivity plan are required.

ANTI-THEFT IMMOBILIZER
Multi-level Security System
4D BLACKBOX IMMOBILIZER includes an advanced multi-level anti theft system against an increased number of theft methods from key cloning to relay attacks. 4D BLACKBOX IMMOBILIZER communicates with a transponder KEY, a RELAY and a smartphone APP to notify user. The system is capable to detect the presence of the transponder key and to allow engine ON.
Thanks to this app, the user can:

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The AVMAP TELEMATICS ecosystem
The 4D BLACKBOX IMMOBILIZER collects data through the embedded GPS, triaxial accelerometer and gyro, CANbus and connection to car ingnition, and sends them to a remote server via 2G network using the data format and communication protocol of the AVMAP TELEMATICS ecosystem.
Anti-theft immobilizer system
The Multi-level Security System works with a Transponder Key, a Relay and a Smartphone APP.

The 4D BLACKBOX IMMOBILIZER is capable to detect the presence of the Transponder Key in the authotization range, as it is able to measure its distance from the car.

The blackbox checks the car doors and car's ignition, and gives the Relay the authorization to allow the engine to start.

If the Transponder Key is not detected by the blackbox when the doors are open or after the car's ignition, it will not be possible to start the engine and an alarm will be sent via 2G to the server and to a smartphone APP.

AVMAP 4DTELEMATICS ALGORITHMS detect events with peaks starting from 0.6g, while others only see what happens over 2g, leaving out minor impacts that can cause damages to the vehicle and are critical for insurance and fleet management services.

While most of the other systems require specific installation orientation, with limitation on where to install the device, AVMAP TELEMATICS devices can be installed in any position and orientation. Even if professionally installed, this means it is easier to adopt them for fleets, and different kind of vehicles as they can be positioned in the hood box, console box or glove box.
